The Federal Competition Commission (CFC) is a decentralized body of the Ministry of Economy with technical and operational autonomy. The CFC was created in 1993 and its the authority in charge of the prevention, investigation and combat of monopolies, monopolistic practices and mergers, in terms of  the Economic Competition Law (LFCE).
